Throughout the course, participants will learn a range of preventative strategies, de-escalation skills, and communication skills to reduce the risk of injury by decreasing the number of physical interventions. Participants will also learn psychological and physiological responses that will minimize the potential harm of disruptive and aggressive behavior.
